Have you ever felt like you’re just slowly dying from inside out? And there’s nothing you can do about it.
Until suddenly there comes the day when everything changes and you feel free from the bargain you were carrying.
But on that day you have to ask yourself, are you really ready to step out of the comfort zone?
I know I wasn’t. I had the right mindset at the wrong time.
My day was exactly two years ago. The day I stopped physically dying. I got a new chance at living and when everyone else around my hospital bed was crying I was the one who kept making jokes and smiling. My weak body made my spirit stronger.
Everything inside me changed, but my life stayed the same, I got well, went back to school and again went with the flow. Even I’m impressed that I was fine for two years. I did try looking for new ways to study abroad or at least charge something.
Until now, which brings me to the point why I suddenly left my hometown and home. Quit school and started working on the things that are really important to me. And now I’m wondering around the world, doing the things I love and being the person I really want to be.
So, thank you, mamma, for sitting on my bed that morning and saying: “There are only two ways to live your life, SHINE OR DIE.”
